I read about the history and development of NHL,NBA and other sports in America. Most importantly, the aspect that caught my attention was the business of the game. Many players in these leagues are millionaires while the economy is relatively stable. More to that,Americans didn't come to Africa or Asia or Nigeria to develop this game, the opportunities were created and utilised within. The people and the government worked hard to make the system work and it paid off. They invested their money in improving and discovering talents. Opportunities were created and the citizens were ready to jump on it and make the best of it.

The only sports...the ONLY sports that is still keeping some Nigerians sane and making others go insane with betting is on life support. What on earth will necessitate a world body like FIFA to ban Nigeria? What?
The whole world is filled with greedy people but ours is peculiar in this country. We want to enjoy before working. But others enjoy after working. And before I forget, please account for those condoms that was taken to Brazil. We didn't progress too far so I believe there'll be some leftovers for the ogas to use.
As a youth,I won't complain and whine without offering a solution. People need to be taught that the best way to save your money is not to save your money.
Invest! A man died and over 65 million naira was left dormant in his account. Even the family didn't know such account was in existence till his secretary came back years later to meet the wife and tell her about it.
We all have passions and I believe a fulfilled man can invest in his passion and improve young talents there. I am passionate about the progress of this country and I insist that we must get better.
To my fellow youths who feel saddened by the current situation in the country, don't chicken out. Keep the faith. We will surely make out some sense out of this nonsense.
Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
