Martin Beck Nworah Sunday, December 18, 2016 4

Saturday, the 17th day of December 2016 went down in the annals of history as one of the most historic days in the lives of young people in the South East. #SchoolBagToPortfolio was held at the DP VIP Hall Awka for exclusively selected delegates to deliberate on career, media, financial management and politics. The event which was put together by Martin Beck Nworah, was aimed at educating youths and creating a platform for them to connect and network with one another. Youths from different parts of the South East who were exclusively selected and invited for the interactive session were in attendance.

At the event, the SSA(Political) to Chief Willie Obiano, Owelle Onyeka Mbaso reeled out his life journey into politics and how young people can learn to connect and grow their contacts. In all, respect, patience and truthfulness will always take you to the top according to the politician.

Nze Uche Nworah, the MD/CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service thrilled our youthful audience with his masterful delivery of how we can make our society work. Starting from the individual, we can create something unique that will make our society better. His journey into business and the media is a clear testament to his teachings.

Other facilitators at the event included Ikem Chukwuzoba, the CEO of Okwaifugo Integrated Services Ltd., Uchenna Agbo, MD of Okike Media and Alex Otutu, OAP with Blaze FM. The Honourable Commissioner for budget, economic planning and development partners sent a representative.

The delegates were truly delighted and the excitement was facially written. It was an event worth the time and resources invested into it.

In his final remarks, Martin Beck Nworah thanked them for investing their time, energy and resources to educate and share with young people. He presented the facilitators with picture frames of gratitude and the event came to an end. Going forward, he hopes to sustain the conversation and even grow it to something bigger in the coming years.
