It was all praise to God, glitz and glamour as the Family of Chief Lazarus and Dr (Mrs) Judith Nworah approached the altar of God in thanksgiving for His numerous blessings on their lives. Chief Nworah celebrated his 70th birthday anniversary while Dr(Mrs) Judith Nworah celebrated her successful retirement from the civil service after 35 solid years.
Speaking during the homily, the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, His Lordship, Most Rev Dr Denis Isizoh stressed on the need for the people of God to be grateful at all times. He stated that the example shown by the Nworah's is a testament of God's goodness and mercy on them. He prayed for more blessings, grace and good health for the couple.
Top personalities from Anambra State and beyond graced the event to felicitate with the couple and share in their joy.
On her part, Dr (Mrs) Judith Nworah is a renowned grassroots mobilizer.
In her local community and church, her knack for excellence has kept her endeared to the hearts of thousands of women in Fegge. As an executive of the Women Association, she has inspired so many women to pursue their passion and achieve excellence in their divergent fields. A strong advocate for women empowerment, she has continued to empower women and give them a reason to smile while excelling in their family and career.
As she retires from active service, this Amazon of grassroots mobilization and mother of all will be greatly missed. Going forward, I know she will not rest. Her popularity and general acceptance is a stepping stone to contribute more to the growth of the polity, economy and Anambra State as a whole.
Hearty congratulations to the Family.
