Igbo kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwezuo nuoo!!!

I am glad to announce to all of us that at the end of voting by 7:30pm Saturday night, Nwaada Onyinye Ngige (Glory Edwin) won the #NoMakeUpIgboGirl competition/campaign.

I am grateful to all our wonderful Igbo ladies who identified with this campaign and posted their natural pictures. Of course, many of you didn't do it to win, you only joined in the campaign to raise awareness about appreciating one's natural beauty in a noisy world filled with many face paintings. Thank you so very much for being a part of this family and may God bless you abundantly. To Princess Xandy Emerald, you fought a good fight. Thank you so much.

As Onye Ntorobia Anambra, I am always looking forward to creating opportunities to interact with my fellow young people on social media and in the real world. And it is a blessing to have hundreds of thousands of you here to always join in the different conversations I bring up. I am looking forward to sharing with us, better ways we can shape our opinions towards the Anambra election coming up this November.

To the young men who went to the inbox of different ladies to disturb them, I hail all of you and I hope you find a wife. You have already seen her without makeup so hurry up. Pascal Okeke, thanks for the designs.

To Onyinye Ngige, the winner of #NoMakeUpIgboGirl campaign, I salute your resilience and undying spirit to win. We can all learn from your success today that one can start strong and still finish strong. God bless you.

As stated in the competition guide, the Winner will receive ALL the prizes!!!

Thank you so very much for being here.

Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
