Martin Beck Nworah Wednesday, December 06, 2017 5

I used to be very slow when it comes to typing large word documents. In those early days, I had a very close friend who helped me out whenever I needed help. One day she told me, "It seems you can't get work done without me, I wonder what will happen when I am not available."

I smiled, walked over to her table, bent over and whispered into her left ear; "If you leave, progress will be made."

She never understood what I meant by those words till she traveled out of the country, and I had to learn how to type at the speed of light. Now, I am very fast at typing in all the ways I can.

In life, nobody is indispensable and when you're gone, people will be employed to do that particular task you feel only you is good at. When push comes to shove, the person might even learn how to execute the task himself.

So here is a lesson worth sharing; never you feel people can't get over you or move on in life. When push comes to shove, they will learn!

Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
